Grade 4 – ‘Superprint’

Printmaking is the process of making artworks by printing, onto paper. Printmaking (other than monotyping – meaning one print only) is not chosen only for its ability to produce multiple impressions, but rather for the unique qualities that each of the printmaking processes lends itself to.
The students have all researched their individual ideas and have drawn from photos, images and their imagination to create their own unique set of images that they will use in a ‘Superprint’. They will learn three different printmaking techniques; lino printing, styrofoam printing and stenciling.
